The Inauguration Ceremony of the Academic Year 2022/2023 Vita - Salute San Raffaele University

The presence of the Hon. President of the Republic Sergio Mattarella at the inauguration of the academic year of the Vita-Salute San Raffaele University, was a great honour both for me and the entire San Donato Group.
President Mattarella epitomises and embodies national unity, and yesterday he granted us the privilege of his time and allowed us to present the cutting-edge scientific research and expert teaching carried out at the University. 
The warmth and enthusiasm with which he was welcomed by the students and all the members of the University are proof of the continued value and importance that President Mattarella continues to represent.
We are grateful to him for taking the time to make this gesture of support that inspires our youth to dream more, learn more and become more. Such support motivates and strengthens our resolve and enthusiasm to move forward with new scientific, didactic and clinical goals, while continuing to maintain the centrality of the patient as a person and the need for care and assistance.
