GKSD-GSD Chairman Kamel Ghribi is back in Najaf to celebrate the inauguration of a renovated and modernised Emergency Room at the Al-Najaf Al-Ashraf Teaching Hospital.
This area has been taken over by GKSD and GSD and it has been renovated over the past few months as well as modernised and equipped with all of the necessary elements to ensure first class patient care. This is not only an important milestone from the point of view of medical progress but also in terms of building an important legacy for the city and people of Najaf.
It was with particular pleasure that the Chairman welcomed the italian Ambassador to Iraq, H.E. Nicolò Fontana to the opening ceremony. The precious support of H.E. Ambassador Fontana highlighted just how much the ceremony can be considered one of the most precious and timeless achievements in what became an exceptionally difficult project to realise.
The inauguration was also an opportunity to welcome the Governor of Najaf, H.E. Yousef Kanawi, and to observe together the progress made in the modernisation and upgrading of all major areas of the hospital, such as, for example, the intensive care unit.
The union between Al-Najaf Teaching Hospital and GKSD-GSD is not just a managerial partnership, but a true strategic alliance that has never lost sight of the one true mission: to improve the lifestyle and wellbeing of the local population.
