GK Investment Holding Chairman, GSD Healthcare Middle East Chairman and GSD Vice President Kamel Ghribi was in Rome to meet the Italian Foreign Luigi Di Maio. During discussions with Minister Di Maio, Kamel Ghribi voiced his belief in the importance of re-establishing strong ties between Italy and the MENA region during this delicate phase of economic recovery post pandemic.

The Chairman urged the Honourable Minister to adopt a long-term approach to investment in the region in order to promote much needed stability; in particular, he cited the great benefits of bilateral collaboration between Italy and such nations as Tunisia, Libya, Morocco and Egypt across all sectors from healthcare training and provision to infrastructure and tourism.

Ghribi stated that support from Italy and the EU would create stronger populations that could not only re-build economies but also create security and stability across the entire Mediterranean basin bringing much needed mutual benefit to all. To this end, he invited the Hon. Foreign Minister to attend the International Abrosetti EMEA care Forum on Healthcare investment that is being sponsored by GSD and GK Investment Holding Group in Milan that will see Ministers, Ambassadors, Investors and Medical Experts come together to discuss investment models that will take Italy and the MENA region into a more secure future.
