GKSD President Kamel Ghribi paid a much-anticipated visit to the new Galeazzi hospital site in Milan. The state-of-the-art hospital is the largest of its kind in Italy and among the most important in Europe and will house a University medical faculty within its structure to complement the GSD University hospitals of San Raffaele and San Donato.

The Chairman decided to offer his solidarity and support to the construction workers from all over Europe and North Africa who are working tirelessly to complete the construction of this magnificent structure within the project deadline. The Chief Engineer presented the workflow and development phases of the project and the GKSD President complimented the consummate professionalism of the various teams and their ability to stick to the timing of the deadline without compromising health and safety concerns.

He was particularly keen to note that the utmost care is dedicated to health and safety issues and proud to see that every employee onsite follows the safety norms in force at all times. The visit was also a golden opportunity to understand whether there were any problems or concerns among the workforce and he ended his visit praising everyone for their tireless work that never halted even during the height of the pandemic.

He also extended great admiration to the women who make such a difference both professionally and in terms of promoting equal opportunities in a sector traditionally dominated by men.
